CMC mean?

What does “CMC” mean?

The Certified Microbial Consultant (CMC) credential is a high‑level certification issued by the American Council for Accredited Certification (ACAC). It recognizes advanced expertise in mold inspection, microbial assessment, and environmental diagnostics. To earn the CMC designation, a professional must meet strict requirements — either 8 years of field experience in mold inspection and sampling, or 4 years of experience plus a 4‑year degree in science, engineering, or a related field. This certification ensures advanced knowledge, professional competency, and adherence to industry standards.
